[Despite everything, Vash and Wolfwood have fallen into a comfortable routine. They might spend time doing their own things throughout town — the priest at his church, and the plant flittering about town causing trouble — but eventually they wind up back home together. Sometimes, Vash has dinner ready for them, and other times he whines until Wolfwood cooks for him.
It's... a little different this time, though. Ever since the incident with the chocolate had happened, Vash has had something gnawing at the back of his mind. It's a subject he hasn't been sure how to broach with Wolfwood, though thankfully it hasn't felt urgent. There's no guilt to be found here, just... thoughtfulness.
One day, this day specifically, he finally reaches a break in his thoughts. Determination fills him, and so now he waits at the piano, drumming his fingers against his knee and bouncing his leg as he waits for Wolfwood to come back.]
