Ain seems to be very receptive to positive feedback and reinforcement, which isn't uncommon because of course people want people to say nice things about them, but he gets the sense that especially now Ain needs it. Given what he's been through and his specific insecurities, it's something Wolfwood is happy to offer. Not just because he needs it, either, but because he wants to.
He thinks he deserves it, bottom line.
So he'll stroke his hair and murmur soft noises of encouragement around the unabashed moaning he's doing. And for a moment it's just a few seconds of this, until Ain starts really feeling it and Wolfwood realizes that he's not going to actually be able to keep himself OUT of his throat for that much longer.
