And because of his worst fears coming true, he's left unable to respond as Vash suddenly rushes to stand, to leave. It leaves Wolfwood unable to do...anything. He doesn't know what the best thing to do in this situation is, and Vash isn't exactly giving him a chance to figure that out.

[But he doesn't stop. He's already turning, he can see him bolting, and now that he's able to fly there's no way Wolfwood could stop him now.
So he screams after him, not caring if the rest of the Grove hears, his voice breaking on how loud and sharp he yells it.]
